Deb, kids are so easy to impress, huh? If only we could be as content with the small things like they are. I used to take free coffee at the office for granted until working in my current gig...since I'm one of a small minority of coffee drinkers, we have to buy it and brew it ourselves.

Reading your post brought back memories from many years ago, Chris. We didn't have a formal "bring your daughter to work," but on snow days our agency director offered to let the employees' school aged children come in. Apparently I grew in career stature after that. My 2 daughters spoke more fluently about what I did. What most impressed them, however, were 2 things - the microwave oven available in the staff lounge to pop popcorn, and the VCR in the conference room to watch movies on. They were quite upset when I later changed careers and no longer worked there!
